Chelsea part ways with manager, Mauricio Pochettino, after one season
Pochettino, former coach of Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain, has amicably left the club

Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino have parted ways, the Premier League club announced Tuesday. Pochettino had only been in charge for one season, having taken over from Thomas Tuchel in January 2023.
Chelsea finished sixth in the Premier League in the 2023-24 season, and they were eliminated in the group stage of the Champions League. Pochettino had previously managed Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain, and he led Tottenham to the Champions League final in 2019.
Chelsea said in a statement that it had "parted company" with Pochettino "by mutual consent". The club thanked Pochettino for his "efforts" and wished him "the best for the future".
