Canelo Alvarez returns to the ring on Cinco De Mayo
Munguia to take on Canelo in super middleweight title fight
Undercard includes three major title fights
One of the premier names in boxing returns to the ring as undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez takes on Jaime Munguia in a highly anticipated match-up.
Before Munguia throws down against Canelo, there will be an action-packed undercard that includes three major title fights.
However, there is a notable absence of Mexicans on the Cinco De Mayo undercard that boasts four title fights and reads as follows:
- Canelo Alvarez (-500) vs. Jaime Munguia (+400) - undisputed super middleweight title
- Mario Barrios (-1000) vs. Batyr Akhmedov (+600) - WBA super lightweight title
- Elwin Soto (-1600) vs. Katsunari Takayama (+800) - WBO junior flyweight title
- Seniesa Estrada (-2000) vs. Anabel Ortiz (+1000) - WBO light flyweight title
The PPV main card starts at 8 p.m. ET, with Canelo and Munguia expected to make their way to the ring around 11 p.m. ET.
